Dear Future Me,

I’m writing to you from a place of reflection and anticipation. Right now, in 2025, I’m learning what it truly means to embrace health with courage—not just as a concept, but as a way of life. For so long, health has felt like an abstract idea, something just beyond reach. But now, I’m choosing to actively bring it into my world, even on the hard days. This is the year I am committing to myself, to my wellness, and to my future. Every choice I make—no matter how small—is a step toward the healthier, more grounded version of me that I want to become. It could be something as simple as hydrating more often, advocating for my own care in a new space, or even giving myself permission to rest without guilt. Each of these actions counts.

I’ve walked this warrior path for years, and along the way, survival often took priority over self-care. It’s something we, as warriors, are often conditioned to do: keep pushing, keep fighting, keep moving forward, no matter the cost. But I know, deep down, that to truly thrive, I need to nurture myself in ways that go beyond just surviving. This year, I’m focused on not just existing, but thriving—finding clarity and peace in my body, listening to it, and giving it the grace it deserves. Warriorhood is not about being indestructible; it’s about being mindful, being present, and taking the time to heal from the inside out.

Looking at what I’ve already started, I’m excited about where this journey is headed. My Warrior Words podcast is now live on Spotify, where I get to share not only my voice but the voices of other warriors who have stories worth telling. The Warrior Store is still growing, now proudly sponsored by Honeycomb Health, where we continue to spread awareness, provide advocacy, and offer gear that reflects the strength of our community.

So, Future Me, when you look back on this time, I hope you see progress—big and small. I hope you’re proud of how you’ve turned the focus inward, giving yourself permission to heal, to rest, and to reclaim your health. The goal has always been more than just survival; it’s about living fully, with intention and clarity, embracing every part of the journey. Health is no longer a distant dream; it’s a reality you’re building, one step at a time.

And as you stand there, in your future self, I hope you’ll feel the peace that comes with having truly cared for yourself—knowing that you are worthy of the health and life you’re now living.

With love and gratitude,
Whitney Lyn
